Employee training

On March 4 and 5, 2020, all relocation employees as well as the office staff of Schäfli AG came together to conduct a two-day employee training course.
In connection with the training, the employee handbook, which every employee receives when joining the company, was completely revised and presented to the moving experts.
The training took place at the company headquarters in the Mühlental. Thanks to the large meeting room and the various facilities offered by the building, we were able to divide into smaller groups and thus to go through different positions one after the other.
The program of the two days was very rich and varied. Even though the training topics were nothing new - especially for long-time employees - due to their experience and daily practice. All the more the new employees were able to benefit from the expertise and relocation experience of the others.
For example, they were trained in safety-related topics, various packing techniques, disassembly and reassembly of specific furniture systems, optimal carrying techniques, the use of various aids such as our furniture lift, the Bimobil, the stair setter and many more.
Many thanks to the course instructors, who have organized and carried out these two days in a professional, varied and motivated manner. Also a big thank you for the active participation in our great moving troop. The training was a complete success!
