We tour from Schaffhausen to Spain and back regularly, up to twice a month, and move all sorts of goods for our customers. The shipments to Spain are collected within Switzerland, picked in our warehouse and transported to Spain by truck at the next possible date. We always load several commissions for moving goods from our customers on the trailer. The various customers are loaded and unloaded one after the other, depending on the route of the tour. Everything is loaded by us competently, packed on request and properly cleared. This makes our trip efficient and at the same time reduces the cost of your move. Thanks to our numerous customers, we can guarantee a fair transport price even with the smallest loading volume.

On our standard route, we drive along the most popular coast of Spain to Marbella. Among other things, we often stop in big cities like Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Almeria, Madrid and many more. We also travel regularly to Mallorca. If you are moving to a more remote location in Spain, we can certainly support you. Disassembly and reassembly

Disassembling and assembling your furniture is part of our service and is done by one of our professional fitters.

Packing material

Of course, we also won't leave you out in the rain when it comes to packaging material: We would be happy to provide you with an extensive range of high-quality packaging materials for your move. Our specialist staff will be happy to advise you on the packaging for your computer or piece of art, so that your valuables will not be damaged.

Packing & unpacking service

We will be happy to pack and unpack your household items at your request so that you can turn to more important tasks in the meantime. Here too, you can fully rely on our many years of experience and our respect for your property. We also manufacture tailor-made wooden crates for particularly fragile objects so that your vintage motorcycle or your Rodin sculpture looks just as impressive at the new location as before.

Disposal

Experience has shown that large amounts of garbage are usually generated when moving house. We also provide you with uncomplicated and competent support here - be it by providing you with a disposal container of exactly the right size or by taking care of clearing and disposing of objects and materials left behind on purpose. Of course, we make sure that your garbage is removed as inexpensively as possible, but still ecologically.

Cleaning

Once the rooms are empty, the big part of a move is just around the corner: The cleaning. On request, we can also take this worry off your hands completely, and at competitive prices. We remain until the handover and guarantee cleanliness upon acceptance. This way you have only one contact person during the entire move. You will appreciate this on the day of the move.

Safe, piano and grand piano transportation

Schäfli is also prepared for those cases in which heavy objects such as safes or pianos or concert grand pianos with delicate lacquer have to be moved. We have the necessary special equipment such as our stair robot or our piano plan, which ensure safe and careful handling. Our trained specialist staff will also bring your massive safe or musical instrument to the right place without damage.

So that you can move as carefree as possible, we offer additional transport insurance on request. We would be happy to advise you in this regard.

FAQ

We drive to Spain with a trailer, on which we have loaded several commissions with moving goods from our customers. Depending on the route of the tour in question, the various customers are loaded and unloaded one after the other. This enables us to keep costs low for individual customers. However, a certain degree of flexibility is required by the customers, since the removal goods are transported for 5 to 10 different customers on one transport.
After placing the order, you will receive the customs instructions from us with precise information about which documents you should provide us with. You will also receive sample documents to help you fill out the documents. However, it is advisable to inquire at an early stage what is required, since, for example, registration in the Spanish city or the application for the so-called NIE number can take several weeks.
You will receive a rough time window when placing the order. The dates for the departure as well as the provisional unloading dates are announced approx. 2 weeks before departure. Our driver will then contact you by phone 1 day and 1 hour before arrival.
This is not absolutely necessary. If you have a neighbor or acquaintance in Spain who unlocks the door for you and receives our driver, you do not have to be present when loading or unloading.
We calculate the volume of your moving goods by cubic meter. After picking up your goods, we will evaluate the relocation volume so that you only pay for what we can effectively transport for you.
Of course, on our collection tours we always have reloads back to Switzerland, which we can carry out for you at low cost.

In Switzerland, we store the removals in our furniture storage at our company headquarters in Schaffhausen. The storage of the Spanish items is free for the first month, then storage fees apply. We do not have our own warehouse in Spain. However, we regularly work with Spanish partner companies, which can provide storage options for our customers.

This is not a problem at all, we would be happy to organize loading or unloading assistants for you on site in Spain. This involves additional costs, however.

In accordance with our general moving conditions of ASTAG, your moving property is insured by a carrier liability insurance, up to CHF 500.00 per cubic meter and a maximum of CHF 25,000.00 per damage event. On request we can offer you additional insurance to guarantee you the best possible insurance protection.

Yes, transporting vehicles to or from Spain is not uncommon for us. Thanks to our in-house auto repair shop we are able to offer you a complete service for demonstration appointments in Switzerland: From transport to Switzerland, to provision of vehicle inspections, the demonstration appointments, to the return transport to Spain.
